The latest CodeInterview improvements are now live – just released diagnostics for TypeScript and JavaScript (with more to come!); color assignment for candidates and interviewers; and finally markdown support in question templates.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These improvements remove friction in the interview process, making things less stressful and helping you focus on uncovering great talent.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s a breakdown of what’s new: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Diagnostics for TypeScript and JavaScript<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Syntax errors are now highlighted so candidates can quickly fix their code – Popular editors like Visual Studio work in the same way.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This prevents minor issues from interfering with the candidate’s performance, helping you focus on core problem-solving abilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re currently expanding this functionality to other languages like C, C++, C#, Go, Ruby and Python.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Color assignment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Color isn’t just for aesthetics; it’s a tool to enhance readability and focus. Recognizing this, we’ve revamped the color assignment within our code editor, enhancing legibility and making it easier to identify whether it’s the interviewer or the candidate active on the screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s now easy to format your questions and solutions when creating templates. Markdown support helps you create crisp, clear, and structured assessments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
